PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project involved providing comprehensive engineering services for the development of a single-family residential lot in Longview Creekside, Newton County, Georgia. The site, a vacant and partially wooded residential parcel within a common development, was prepared for the construction of a single-family detached home designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. The scope of work included the preparation of a detailed site plan, erosion control plans, and various permitting efforts to ensure regulatory compliance while minimizing environmental impacts. 

KEY SERVICES PROVIDED 

Project Management: Coordinated with subconsultants and contractors for soil investigations, surveying, architectural plans, and construction permitting, ensuring seamless collaboration with all project partners. 

Erosion, Sediment, and Pollution Control (ES&PC) Plans: Developed ES&PC plans and secured approval from the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC). 

Regulatory Compliance: Prepared and filed the Notice of Intent with the Georgia Department of Environmental Protection, ensuring all permitting requirements were met. 

Site Plan Development: Designed a comprehensive site plan and submitted the application package for the residential septic permit. 

Building Permitting: Facilitated the acquisition of land disturbance and building permits, ensuring timely approval to support construction progress.
