KEY SERVICES PROVIDED 

EK Engineering Consultants, LLC (EKEC) provided civil site and structural design services for the ACT Renovation project in Mishawaka, IN. The scope included structural expansion, site design, and permitting support to facilitate the facility improvements. 

As part of the structural consulting services, EKEC conducted site inspections, evaluated existing conditions, and provided recommendations for necessary repairs and modifications. Structural design was completed for new foundations, building extensions, and other required elements. Construction plans and specifications were prepared and sealed by a registered professional engineer. Additionally, EKEC participated in design and constructability review meetings as needed. 

For site design, EKEC developed grading and drainage plans to accommodate site improvements, including parking modifications and a retention pond extension. An Erosion and Sediment Control Plan was prepared to ensure regulatory compliance. Stormwater analysis and necessary revisions during permitting were also addressed to support project approval.
