Our Leadership
Dr. Khan, Founder and CEO, has over 15 years of consulting and research experience in Structural Engineering including finite element analysis, field testing and assessment, structural health monitoring, and seismic design. His professional experience includes field testing and finite element analysis of a prestressed concrete highway and commuter rail bridges, development of instrumentation plan for field testing of though-truss and through-plate-girder steel railway bridge, analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures, Design and assessment of culverts, Development of U girder standards for LADOTD, Implementation of accelerated bridge construction, Dam Rehabilitation, Temporary traffic control plan, Bridge hydraulics, and supervision.
Dr. Khan holds professional Engineering (PE) license in four States (GA, IN, MI, LA), Professional Traffic operations Engineers (PTOE) Certification from Transportation Professional Certification Board, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, and Qualified bridge inspector certification from NHI.
Dr. Khan conducted extensive research on seismic analysis of bridges. He developed a displacement-based seismic design approach for the design of horizontally curved and deck arch bridges. He also proposed improved guidelines to AASHTO guide specifications for the seismic analysis of curved bridges. Throughout his career, he has co-authored several publications, research proposals and letter of intent for transportation projects. He also serves as reviewer of several reputed journals.
