About the Role
As a Professional Land Surveyor at EK Engineering Consultants, you will take a pivotal role in interpreting, organizing, and executing surveying assignments. This position involves planning and managing mid-level projects, addressing unique challenges, and developing innovative solutions that significantly impact organizational programs. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, independent decision-making, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee mid-sized projects or projects of moderate complexity.
• Support and guide the organization’s surveying program, particularly for programs of limited complexity and scope.
• Engage in conceptualizing, planning, and researching solutions for moderately complex problems.
• Employ innovative and unconventional approaches to address challenges through thorough, conceptually connected studies.
• Stay updated on advanced theories, concepts, and processes in land surveying to ensure precision and excellence.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred and interpreting construction plans.
• Willingness to learn and excel in areas such as:
  • Digital terrain modeling
  • Earthwork volume calculations
  • Field data management
  • Drafting topographic and boundary surveys
• Advanced problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
