Position Summary

EK Engineering Consultants is looking for a skilled Traffic Operations Engineer to support Traffic Impact Studies for projects in Georgia, Indiana, and Florida. This remote part-time position offers the flexibility to work on exciting and impactful projects while collaborating with a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and review Traffic Impact Studies for projects in Georgia, Indiana, and Florida.
• Ensure projects meet state-specific traffic regulations, guidelines, and standards.
• Use traffic modeling software and analysis tools to assess and improve traffic operations.
• Prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations for clients.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in traffic engineering, focusing on Traffic Impact Studies.
• Strong understanding of traffic regulations in Georgia, Indiana, and Florida.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, or similar tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote work environment.
